Are these the least reliable cars on British roads?
Research into the most unreliable cars on Britain's roads has turned up some surprising contenders ranging from luxury vehicles to small city cars. Motoring Research and What Car? amongst others have uncovered the following results about some of the cars we should think twice about trusting:
Vauxhall Zafira

Controversy has surrounded this make in the last year after some models caught fire - however, the most prevalent fault is in the gearbox costing over £1,000 to get it fixed. Problems didn't stop there as other owners have reported issues with ignition coils, alternators and clutches.

The popular retro car comes with problems that seem to mount up after a year or so, and these tend to be concentrated mainly on the clutch, although other faults have included engine, gearbox and steering.
